Crocker Conservation Area, fitchburg, massachusetts
This 150-acre conservation area surrounds Overlook Reservoir, a popular destination for hikers. Over 5 miles of trails traverse the conservation area and link to adjacent Audubon Flatrock Sanctuary. The CCA may be accessed from Flatrock Road, Ashburnham Hill Road and Caldwell Street, less than 1/2 mile from Fitchburg’s Upper Common.

CCA & Overlook Reservoir Conservation Restriction

Rome Conservation Area, gardner, massachusetts
This 175-acre conservation area is adjacent to the Estates at Wilder Brook development in north Gardner. This predominantly lowland area is drained by Wilder Brook. A newly constructed trail system through the conservation area connects to John Eaton Road, a popular cart road through land owned by the city. Until the development is completed, the conservation area can be accessed from Route 140 through the Gardner City Forest.

Sibley Property, westminster, massachusetts
This 47-acre property is located on Route 12 in Westminster, bounded by Phillips Brook and the former Brookside Farm. The Midstate Trail runs near the property.

Wiita Conservation Area, ashby, massachusetts
NCLT holds a conservation restriction on this 170-acre conservation area, which is owned by the Town of Ashby. This conservation area encompasses the former Wiita Farm and Blood Hill. Several trails converge on the summit of Blood Hill, which affords a scenic view of the town center. The conservation area can be accessed from Whitney Road.
